Hyd to Mumbai by Bus, reached mumbai morning 10am of 20th Oct.
Oct 20th
Checked into the hotel. It was a nice hotel at Church Gate… I could see BSE through windows. Relaxed for a while and then went to attend ‘Broadcast India’(BI) [in detail in next post]. Met abhinav and his colleague there, and spent time at BI till evening. Came back to hotel.. ordered pizzas… went to ‘Gateway of India’ at night.
Mumbai had a old look.. not at all what i thought it like.. very old buildings, normal indian streets etc..
Gateway of India was such a boring place. There wasnt even enough crowd. Dirty sea.
Oct 21st
Reached BI at 11am, stayed there till evening.. came back to hotel.. went to Marine Drive, and Chopati and Phoenix Mill (Shopping Complex) at night.
Marine Drive had red lights at every 10 minutes… which looked kinda jam, so was no fun.. nothing like Vizag’s Beach road.
Chopati too was nothing special.. a beach where waves doesnt come.. and dirty like one can walk a km on water. The scene of chatwallas calling their customers was awesome.. as soon as we landed across their stalls.. all of them started shouting at us together.. for calling us to sit at their stall. Would scare anyone at first visit.
I was not satisfied by the crowd i saw.. not even what we have in malls at hyderabad. Phoenix mill also was kinda empty.. though we reached there little late at night. I didnt see anything like ‘mumbai doesnt sleep at night’.. probably we were in wrong area.. as one autowalla explained that this is office area.. so nothing happens at night.
Oct 22nd
Reached IITB for eSummit at around 11am. [eSummit in next post]. IITB looked like a happening place.. didnt get any change to roam around in the campus though.. Amal joined us at night.
Oct 23rd
Reached IITB little early. 10am. Went to Hiranandani Complex at night. Wow.. it was such an awesome place.. such a beautiful world.. I haven’t seen anything so beautiful place in india so far.. and it was filled with ‘nice’ people too.. It was fun to roam in Hiranandani streets with a can of beer in hand..[1] Had a slight view of mumbai crowd at local trains.. but it was less coz of weekends.
Oct 24th
This was free day.. Again went to see the view of Gateway of India in daylight. Then went on Marine Drive, and Nariman Point. I liked the view in daylight. A curved road.. around the beach.. with many tall buildings visible. Then went to HajiAli mall, Phoenix Mill. and then reached station at 3pm and reached hyd early morning of Oct 25th.
Overall.. Mumbai was a nice place.. but i think i didnt see the peak of it- the crowd and the posh areas.. didnt go to meet Zinta 
.. no autos (only taxies) so didnt get the chance to go underworld..
Surprisingly SBI
Saw the hoarding of SBI.. I couldnt stop laughing.. it didnt make sense to em and looked kinda stupid.
For those who haven’t seen it.. it goes like - “Which bank has largest no of ATM’s in india (different ‘facts’ like this) - Surprisingly SBI”
