Why India ?
“India is now moving from NEED based approach to OPPORTUNITY based approach.” What do i need -TO-> Where is the opportunity?
DFJ will now have a base in India too.
Then he made an important point that -
“Technologies are build over technologies.. and therefor the growth is exponential. The number of technologies which came up in last 100 years, equal no of technologies will be build in next only 20 years, and again same number in next 5 years.” He then counted a long list of possible technologies of future.
He made the announcement of “DFJ India Business Plan Competition” (DFJ-TiE Initiative in India - India Venture Challenge). Lets see if we also participate.
Draper ended the session with a self composed song - “The riskmaster“. Beautiful and enthusing.
