review : The Polar Express ‘3D’
An Ultimate Experiance.
My first 3D movie @ Prasadz IMAX.
There were so many scenes where it felt like I can extend my hand to touch it. It looked so close. Some ultimate scenes were throwing the food which appeared to fell on my face, the showfall, the train stoping near my nose, the ticket flying just a seat ahead of us, scating when they went above me, etc.
The GRAPHICS. So realistic. Simply Superb. A real looking animated Tom Hanks. The Snow, The wind, everything…..
They used a amazing technology “performance capture” where characters in the movie are built around the performances of live actors.
