A Cousin Couple
Nir told me that Einstein married his cousin. So just surfed out some details…
“When the principles of breeding and of inheritance are better understood, we shall not hear ignorant members of our legislature rejecting with scorn a plan for ascertaining by an easy method whether or not consanguineous marriages are injurious to man.” - Charles Darwin. (1871)
* Einstein married Elsa Einstein , his second wife and first cousin.
* Charles Darwin, The Father of Evolution also was a man of his time, and married his cousin Emma, despite having written “inbreeding was harmful, not only because it intensified genetic traits, but because consanguinity itself causes degeneration.”
Well.. good to know.. though they dont make big difference to my view at it.
